97 things you will hate about del.icio.us
Human nature is a very strange thing. Don’t ask me to explain, I’m not an expert in this field. But I keep on wondering how human beings think sometimes. The fact is here. Never try to fight against it, you won’t succeed anyway.
Huh… I actually wanted to tell you how I hate some N# lists on del.icio.us, digg, reddit and such social bookmarking sites. You know, this kind of lists where the author tells you about “45 ways to be more productive”, “67 javascript tricks that, you idiot, sure don’t yet know”…
Sure some are very useful, really. But come on… I’d say that 80% of them are simple gibberish and still they get very bookmarked, dugg and stumbled uppon, web20ed, RoRed, and ajaxified.
Some folks call this copywriting. Yes, catchy headlines always work! It’s somehow the wisdom of crowds. Don’t try to be smart, it’s not about intelligence, it’s about a really basic and almost “animal” thing inside us. And this is exactly what makes me hate this kind of tricky stuff. It hurts me. Period.
So I promised a list in this post title and here it is:
- You’ll hate tricky and false headlines: this post is a good example.
- You’ll hate repetitions.
- You’ll hate stupid paste and copy.
- You’ll hate repetitions.
- You’ll hate commonly known errors: becose its stupid.
- You’ll hate topnotch tech stuff that your mom already knows.
- You’ll hate unrelated tomatoes.
- You’ll hate thing inside us. And. (see

- You’ll hate that strange number! why 97?
- You’ll even hate when it’s not 97.
- You’ll hate tomatoes.
- You’ll hate this list because it makes you hate lists.
- You’ll hate repetitions too.
- You’ll hate this list because it hides real good lists.
- You’ll hate people because they love this list.
- You’ll hete stypid errors.
- You’ll hate it because you try to click and bam! it’s an ad!
- You’ll hate people because they love tomatoes.
- You’ll hate yourself because you’re still reading the list.
- You’ll hate spiderman.
- You’ll hate it because it’s not made of 97 items but 21.
- You’ll eat your brain because they give you a bonus! the 22nd!
That’s it! Now folks go and digg, delicious, stumble upon, reddit this list with the little addthis (BOOKMARK) widget below. It’s THE cure for tomatoes. No, really!
