w00t ! del.icio.us told me: take dat in ya face!

Yesterday I told you how I was wondering about people bookmarking del.icio.us website in del.icio.us itself and some people gave us some meaningful explanations for this, such the case where people export their browsers’ bookmarks to their del.icio.us accounts. Logic, and I was stupid.

Now, ironically today, a Japanese website wrote an article about the bivalidator and it seems that it was the origin of today’s fame on del.icio.us. In fact, xhtml-css.com was on the home page of del.icio.us for hours and, at the moment I’m writing this, it’s still there. It’s also in the first positions on del.icio.us/popular , del.icio.us/popular/xhtml , del.icio.us/popular/css and so on…

Even on our cheap shared hosting with bluehost.com, the website resisted to all that traffic and we actually are a bit proud of this.
Also, while analyzing the logs we were happy to find that firefox was used at an average of 62.7% where IE was at 21.7% and the rest was shared amongst Safari, Netscape and other browsers.

That’s it, it was fun to follow a website’s evolution on a bookmarking service such del.icio.us, so please give us that fun back! Bookmark the bivalidator: if you haven’t done that yet .
